UCIFEST 14 hopes to become a film and animation festival that inspires and motivates students and students to work both on a national and international scale. The mission is:
- Bringing students together with professional sources in the field of film and animation.
- Increasing the competitive attitude of students by holding film and animation competition programs.
- Providing a place of appreciation for students through superior and quality film and animation screening programs.
- Supporting the development of technological innovation in the field of film through the 360 film competition program.

PREFACE
Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life – and travel – leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks – on your body or on your heart – are beautiful. Often, though, they hurt. – Anthony Bourdain
Therefore, travelling is essential for any filmmaker. The more you travel the larger your vocabulary will be. This will then enhance your creativity and your ability to create great storytelling.
Let me put it this way, you cannot create story about the life of a Balinese boy, if you never travel to Bali and experienced the Balinese culture, social dynamism and their problems. These information cannot be learned based on reading a book only.
I wish to welcome all of you to the 14th UCIFEST, a film festival, held by Film Department of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. I would like to thank Kompas Gramedia Group, Our Rector and Vice Rectors, Dean and mostly our students that work hard to ensure our film festival runs smoothly.
